Is there a cancellation fee?
Yes. Cancellation penalties will be charged using the following guidelines:
- There will be no cancellation charge for registrants canceling sixteen (16) or more business days prior to the scheduled training date.
- Students who cancel less than sixteen (16) business days but more than ten (10) business days prior to the scheduled training date will be charged 25% of the course fees.
- Course cancellations ten (10) or less business days but more than five (5) business days prior to the scheduled training date will be charged 50% of the course.
- Course cancellations made five (5) business days or less of the scheduled training date will be charged 100% of the course price.
- In any of the above cancellation cases, you have the option to apply the cancellation fee as part of the payment to enroll in another Instron training course. This will be a one-time transfer within one year of the originally scheduled course.

What is your policy on no-shows?
No-shows will be charged 100% of the course price.
Can I bring some samples to the training class?
We strongly encourage this. However, we may not have testing instruments available with your same testing capacity requirements. Typically, at our Regional Training sessions in North America, we are limited to capacities of 500 N (100 lbf). While at our Norwood Training Center, we are able to achieve loads up to about 10 kN (2250 lbf). Can I reschedule?
Any rescheduling or substitutions will be charged $100.00 administrative fee. Please notify the Instron Training Center as soon as your plans have changed by using one of the methods listed below:

What discounts do you offer?
We do not offer discounts for training courses delivered in our factory training centers or at regional training locations.
Within our on-site service agreements, we may offer discounts for training courses delivered at your facility which will utilize your equipment. Discounts will be determined by the terms of your on-site services agreement with us and/or the specific training requested.
What if the course I need is not on the schedule?
Not all of the courses or topics we are capable of delivering are scheduled. We normally schedule our most popular courses periodically. If you cannot find the course or topic you need, contact us to see about the availability of holding a course to meet your needs. Can someone attend the course in my place?
